Today we have lost a beautiful woman, loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. She leaves behind her devoted husband of 73 years, Robert W. Wilson, Sr., son Bruce (Sue) Wilson; daughters Donna (John) Wilson Wells and Tammy (Mark) Pregent; grandchildren, Erik (Beth), Kristin, Justin (Lana), Rob (Amelia), Lindsay (Logan), Ryan and Lily.
She was pre-deceased by her son Robert W. Wilson, Jr., parents Harry Sr. and Gertrude Cook, brother Major Harry Cook, Jr.
Sally grew up in Kirkville, NY. She was a graduate of Minoa High School. During WWII she married her husband in 1944. Her loving brother was shot down over Germany and spent two years as a POW.
She worked for a time at General Electric. After the war, they bought a farm in Mexico, NY and lived there for five years until they bought another farm in Truxton, NY where they continued farming. Bob and Sally started Labrador Mtn. Ski Center in 1957.
Sally was the Town Clerk for the Town of Truxton for 11 years. She was a member of the Truxton United Methodist Church.
Sally and Bob built several homes in Breckenridge, CO starting in 1975. Sally enjoyed cooking and hobbies at home, but her greatest joy was her family.
There are no calling hours. Internment for immediate family only.
