Big Stone Gap - Jackie Ray Wells, 57, passed away Monday, October 22, 2018, at Mountain View Regional Medical Center in Norton, VA.
He was the owner of the former Wells Auto Body Shop. He was of Christian faith.
Surviving are his daughter, Terra (K.C.) Jones, Tampa, FL; son, Andrew Wells (fiancé, Kim Clark), Big Stone Gap; parents, Bobby and Irene (Bryant) Wells; two brothers, Michael Wells (Marshell) of Big Stone Gap, and Robert Wells (Margie) of Church Hill, TN; sister, Patricia Hubbard (Tony) of Jonesborough, TN; grandchildren, Faith, Haven, Cadence and Elorah; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, October 25, 2018, at Gilliam Funeral Home (618 Wood Avenue, W.) in Big Stone Gap, VA. The funeral service will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home chapel with Chuck Cress officiating.
Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday at Powell Valley Cemetery, Dryden, VA. Family and friends will meet at Gilliam Funeral Home to leave in procession at 10:30 a.m.
Pallbearers will be Andrew Wells, Michael Wells, Robert Wells, Tony Hubbard, Josh Wells and Matthew Wells.
