A rosary will be recited for Edith A. Barbato, 78, of Kensington, at 7 tonight in Goodbody Mortuary. A Mass will be said at 10 a.m. tomorrow in St. Didacus Roman Catholic Church. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park. She died Thursday in a hospital. Mrs. Barbato was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and lived in the county 42 years. She had been a secretary for Subway Tailors, a Navy uniform manufacturer, and was past president of the International Secretaries Association. She was a member of the Italian Catholic Federation, the University of San Diego Auxiliary and the church's Altar Society.
Survivors include her husband, Michael; and two brothers, James Addesso and Joseph Addesso, both of San Diego.
