Karen was a member of St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church. She enjoyed camping throughout Northern Wisconsin and traveling to her beloved Rocky Mountains. Another one of her favorite things to do was go downhill skiing. She was devoted to the family’s six Golden Retrievers over 40 years.
Karen is survived by her husband, David Morrison; her son: Scott Morrison; her daughter: Melissa Heidl; grandchildren: Meghan, Emily, Harrison, Samuel, and Jack; great-grandchildren: Norah, Evelyn, and Orrin; Sister, Kristie (Merle) Chadwick and brother, Carl Anderson III.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson Zachary Heidl, and nephews, Daniel Pribbenow and Kevin Chadwick.
The family would like to thank the Hospice Staff, Dr. Teresa Lee and Susan for their kind assistance during this difficult time.
The funeral service for Karen will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 26, 2018 at St. Andrew’s Ev. Lutheran Church, 1100 E. Murdock Ave. with Pastor Karen Jewell officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Private burial will take place at Peace Lutheran Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested memorials be made to the Oshkosh Area Humane Society in Karen’s name.
