Huey W. Barrett was born June 9, 1940, to the late Turner Washington Barrett and Ora June Head Barrett. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Sadie Mae Barrett; son, Tony Barrett; brothers, Cecil Barrett, William Barrett, and Clifford Barrett; sisters, Mabel Roberts, Bessie King, Opal Sewell, and Nola Mae Sides.
Surviving relatives are sons, Andy Barrett (Cindy),Marcus Barrett, and Monty Barrett; daughters, Angela Rainey, Alice Kail, and Cindy Mooney ;brother Elmer Barrett (Ann) grandchildren, Richard Barrett ,Jessica Barrett, Todd Kaneer, Thomas Kaneer, Jennifer Warren (Charlie), John Barrett, Tammy Barrett, Joey Mooney (Candy), Ashley Mooney ,Steven Mooney (Jennifer), Anthony Kail, Jr., Marquita Kail, April Rainey, Amanda Walters, Jayme Rainey; and 32 great grandchildren.
