Joyce was a homemaker, she enjoyed gardening and sewing. She had her own home baking business. She helped manage the Gianetto farm with her husband Joseph whom she married on April 19, 1952.
Surviving are 3 daughters, Ann Marie (Rev. William) King of Oswego; Marian (Jeff) Wallace of Oswego and Betty-Jo (Kent) Woodward of Oswego. Two sons, SMSgt. USAF/Retired Joseph F. (Dale) Gianetto II of Oswego and Dominick "Nick" (Diana) Gianetto of Oswego; grandchildren, Eric M. King, Christina M. Barker, Janelle M. King, Angela D. Cross, Jennifer L. Rowan, Alissa J. Evans, Jodi R. Woodward, Dawn Wardard, Amy Cook, Sher (Oly) Sharki, Havka (Kristina) Gurung, Ashok (Kavita) Lamchhane, Kellye M. Buckalew, Brandon J. Gianetto, Matthew J. Gianetto, Jeff Richard Wallace II, Lauren E. Wallace, Joseph W. Wallace, Ryan Shattuck, Kegan Shattuck and Brynn Leigh Shamp; 27-seven great-grandchildren.
Predeceased: husband, Joseph (2007), a brother, Rev. G. Edward Knight (1986).
Services: 10 AM Friday, October 26th at St. Joseph's Church. Burial will follow at St. Peter's Cemetery. Calling Hours: 5-8 PM Thursday at Nelson Funeral Home, 11 West Albany St., Oswego.
