INDIANAPOLIS--Sheila L. Taylor, 66, of Indianapolis, IN, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2018, at her residence, surrounded by close family and loved ones.
She was born Monday, Nov 26, 1951, the daughter of Raymond Dale Wyninger and Joella May Grow in Muncie, IN. She was spunky, feisty, and although small in stature, still filled a room with her humor, lightheartedness, and motherly love. She enjoyed camping, traveling with her sister, bingo, playing poker and euchre, and enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Donald Steven Taylor; daughter, Baby Taylor; brother, Tom Wyninger; and parents, Joella Grow and Raymond Wyninger.
Sheila will be greatly missed by her sister, Tina; children, Donald, Joshua, Lola, Christina, Melissa, and Jessica; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Wherever a beautiful soul has been, there is a trail of beautiful memories. Memories that will be cherished by everyone that knew her.
Visitation for friends and family will be from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Saturday at Elm Ridge Funeral Home, Muncie. Services to celebrate the life of Sheila (Mammaw) will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. from the funeral home. Burial will follow at Elm Ridge Memorial Park.
