Graveside services for John Lyndon Leslie, 63, of Ada are 2:00 p. m. Thursday at the Five-Mile Cemetery.
Mr. Leslie’s spirit returned to his creator, Saturday, October 20, 2018 at an Ada hospital. He was born April 28, 1955 at Duncan, OK to John Floyd and Diamond Massey Leslie. He and his family moved to this area in 1958 and he attended Byng schools. He graduated from Byng High School and attended East Central University.
Mr. Leslie worked in the oilfield industry and also as a janitor. He was a member of the Chickasaw Nation Cats. He was a gifted artist and minister.
Survivors include his mother, Diamond Leslie; two sisters, Elizabeth Jane Brewer Harrison and Mary Leslie Johnson Palmtree; numerous nieces, Mandy and Lisa Johnson and Dixie Renee Brewer; and a nephew, Shawn Brewer.
He was preceded in death by his father; and his grandparents, William Ingram Leslie and Nannie Wade Leslie, who was an original Chickasaw enrollee.
