An obit appeared in the 21 April issue of The Hartford Courant. He was 67, b. NY and had lived in New Haven, New Britain and Hartford, CT. He had a good musical education and organized glee clubs in Hartford, New Britain and Noroton. He was a member of the American Band of New Britain for several years. He was a veteran of 3 and 1/2 years of the Civil War and served in the Navy. He was a member of The New Haven Fire Dept. and belonged to the C.N.G when he lived in New Britain. He was also a member of the O.U.A.M. and the Temple of Honor. He leaves a wife and two daughters and two grandchildren. As well as several brothers and sisters in New Haven. Funeral at the Chapel in Fairview Cemetery, New Britain, where he will be buried.
