OBITUARY:
Philip K. Rogers, 92, of Terre Haute passed away Sunday October 21, 2018 in his residence. He worked for many years at Pfizer, first as a pharmaceutical representative then in the personnel department. He was born March 26, 1926 in Muncie, IN to William D. Rogers and Zula M (Hassler) Rogers. Philip is survived by his wife of 70 years, Anna (Hughes) Rogers whom he married in August 1948; a daughter, Phyllis Rogers of Tipton, IN; a son, Bill Rogers (Char) of Frankfort, IN; grandchildren, Bryce Rogers (Alicia) and Trent Rogers (Bekah) and seven great-grandchildren. He was a WWII veteran serving in the United States Marine Corps in the Pacific Theater, a graduate of Ball State Teachers College and earned his Master’s Degree from Indiana University. Funeral services will be Wednesday October 24, 2018 at 1:00 pm in DeBaun Springhill Chapel with Philip’s grandson, Trent Rogers presiding. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that if friends so desire, memorial contributions may be made to the Indiana Sheriff’s Youth Ranch, 5325 N. State Road 59, Brazil, IN 47834.
