Vicki graduated from the Maryland Institute College of Art with interests in fashion and design. She worked in several different occupations during her life, mostly for the Department of Defense, but also for Sears, a nursing home and as a tax preparer.
She married her husband Kenneth Wilson at Christmastime, 1964, in Maryland. And after he served in the Navy during the Vietnam War, they moved to California. They lived most of their lives together in the San Diego, California area until his death in 2009.
Vicki and Kenny had no children, but cared for many beloved pets including dogs and birds, and she was survived by a beagle, Charlie, and parakeet.
In the later years of her life, Vicki was blessed to have developed another loving relationship with her partner George, who passed away just a few months before Vicki.
She was an avid reader, jewelry maker and collector, and a devoted member of her church and of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Vicki's wish was to be interred beside Kenny at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery.
