Broken Bow, NE- Mary L. Poland age 87, formerly of Sargent died Friday, October 19, 2018, at the Brookestone View Care Home in Broken Bow.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 25, 2018, at 10:30 AM at the Church of Christ in Sargent with Pastor Marty Robbins officiating. Interment will be in the Mt. Hope Cemetery at Sargent. Govier Brothers Mortuary are in charge of arrangements.
Mary L. Poland was born on March 24, 1931, at Sargent, NE to John Gordon and Lucy (Morford) Johnson. She was married to Gean August Poland.
Mary is survived by her sons; Jerry (Pam) Poland of Sargent, and Marvin (Mary Sue) Poland of Deadwood, SD, seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Gean, an infant son, three brothers; Earl, Bob, and Martin, and one sister Berniece.
