POLK, Sharon Faye (Cagle) 2/12/1952 - 5/6/2017 Born February 12, 1952 (Abraham Lincoln's Birthday) to Richard E. and Frances P. Cagle in Detroit, Michigan. Graduated from Adlai Stevenson High School, in Livonia 1970. She went on to Michigan State, where she met William Polk and they were married on June 17, 1972. In January of 1978, Sharon and Bill Polk moved to Tucson, where they have lived for 39 years. Sharon was most proud of her 12 years as a Girl Scout Leader, where she touched the lives of many young women. Survived by her husband, Bill Polk; a daughter, Amethyst (Chris) Carpenter and the cutest grandson ever, Brandon Michael Carpenter. She is also survived by a brother, Phillip (Penny) Cagle and a sister, Deborah (Raphael) Velasquez, and many nieces and nephews. There will be a Memorial Service at Christ Church United Methodist in a few weeks. Arrangements are pending. Arrangements by DESERT ROSE HEATHER.
