Logan Andrew Smith "Smitty", age 17, of New Milton, WV passed away Wednesday, May 24, 2017 from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. He was born September 28, 1999 in Clarksburg, WV.
Logan is survived by his parents, Terry Lee Smith and Lori Ann (Davisson) Smith of New Milton, WV; a brother, Caden Smith of New Milton, WV; maternal grandmother, Sharon Davisson of Bristol, WV; two uncles, Randy Smith of West Union, WV and Ron Davisson & his girlfriend, Niki of Brandon, Mississippi; an aunt, Hope Dotson of Clarksburg, WV; two cousins, Katie Dotson of Clarksburg, WV and Paulina Dotson of Clarksburg, WV; several great aunts and uncles.
Logan was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Terry K. and Lorrena Smith; maternal grandfather, Ronnie Davisson; paternal great grandmother, Helen Smith; maternal great grandmother, Mary Young.
Logan was a student at Doddridge County High School. He was on the football and wrestling teams. He loved to play football, weight lifting, West Virginia University and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The Smith family request that everyone who will be attending the funeral on Monday please dress casually.
Family will receive friends at Greathouse Funeral Home, 1999 W. Main Street Salem, on Sunday, May 28, 2017 from 12:00pm - 8:00pm; Funeral service will be held at Doddridge County High School, 79 Bulldog Dr. on May 29, 2017 at 11:00am with Pastor Chad Ash, presiding. Interment will follow at Chestnut Grove Cemetery.
