Funeral for Floyd Troy Bradley, 77, of Bridgeport was May 14 at Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport with the Revs. Troy Bradley and Gary Sessions officiating. Burial was at East Bridgeport Cemetery.
Bradley died Friday, May 11, 2007, in Denton.
Born Dec. 10, 1929, in Denton County to Bonie and Minta Bradley, he was a retired stockman for the materials department at General Motors in Arlington. He married Ruth Bryant on March 18, 1950, in Bridgeport. He served as a corporal in the U.S. Army and was a member of the Twin Oaks Assembly of God Church in Bridgeport where he served as a deacon.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Lowell and James Henry Bradley.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Ruth Bradley of Bridgeport; a daughter, Melanie Bradley of Bridgeport; three sons, Louis Ray Bradley and wife, Teresa, of Mountain Grove, Mo., Troy Bradley and wife, Darlene, of Bedford, and Greg Bradley and wife, Laura, of Pilot Point; eight grandchildren, Justin Bradley and wife, Candace, Angie Bradley, Amy Culver and husband, Brian, Monica Boren and husband, Michael, Cameron Bradley, Paige Bradley, Taylor Bradley and Brianna Bradley; a great-granddaughter, Raimee Boren; three brothers, B.D. Bradley, Jr., Wayne Bradley and Doyle Bradley; and a sister, Audene Wilson.
Pallbearers were Justin Bradley, Brian Culver, Cameron Bradley, Michael Boren, Kevin Jones and Dewayne Sessions.
