Frankie Dale Morris, 72, died Thursday, October 18, 2018 at his home in Roxboro, NC. He was born January 6, 1946 in Person County, he was the son of the late Frank "Buck" Morris and Ruby Horner Morris. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Larry Paul Morris. He was of the Baptist faith.

Mr. Morris retired as a heavy equipment operator form Brown & Root Construction and Nello Teer. He enjoyed watching NASCAR and was an avid Dale Earnhardt fan. He also enjoyed gardening and canning his harvest.

He is survived by his daughters: Kimberly Nieto (Isaac) of Bay City, TX and Stacey Collins (Derrick) of San Antonio, TX; two siblings: JoCarolyn Kelly (Billy) of Roxboro and Tony Morris of Yanceyville; seven grandchildren: Joshua Galvez, Peyton Farrish, Jasper Nieto, Haley Collins, Amaris Collins, Moira Dolan, and Miranda Reis; mother of his children, Peggy Morris of TX. Mr. Morris lived out his last years with his companion, Janet Whitt of Roxboro, her three children and nine grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 6-7:30 PM Sunday, October 21, 2018 at the Brooks & White Chapel and other times at the home.

Funeral service will be 2 PM Monday, October 22, 2018 at the Brooks & White Chapel with the Rev. Herbert Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the Person Memorial Cemetery.
