She was born September 25, 1929 in Grand Saline to Jessie Roy Jennings and Minnie Myers.
Jeanne is survived by her husband of 65 years, Edgar E. (Rip) Rodgers, son, Lane Rodgers and wife Tina of Grand Saline-their children, Shawn, Whitney, Rachel and Seth; son, Tim Rodgers and wife Karissa of Grand Saline-their children, Andy Shobe, Bailey, Brendon, Micah, and Madison Rodgers; daughter Patti and husband Bobby Sparkman of Mineola-their son, Keith Sparkman; daughter-in-law Rita Rodgers of Grand Saline and children Anissa and Lauren Rodgers and Kara and husband Zach Skinner-their son Noah; daughter- in-law Jan Rodgers of Grand Saline and daughter Ellen and husband Kasey Black-their daughter Paisley, and son Marcus and wife Rachel-their children Briley and Camden Rodgers, and by brother Myers and wife Glenda Jennings of Grand Saline. She is preceded in death by two sons, Eddie Rodgers and Danny Rodgers, parents, Jesse Roy and Minnie Jennings, brothers Russell Jennings, Doyle Jennings, Lee Jennings, and Junior Jennings, and by sisters Vera Kirby and Pat Rhodes, and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was a born again believer and a member of the Mt. Lebanon Baptist since 1959.
Family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Interment will be at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery.
