Jean Clark Dawson, 81, of Wentzville, Missouri and formerly of Diamond went home to be with the Lord on August 13, 2018 following a short illness.
She retired from the State of West Virginia Employment Security Department and was a member of Diamond Baptist Church.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Charles B. Dawson and parents, Thomas and Ruby Hemmings Clark.
Surviving are her daughters and son-in-law, Jeannine Dawson, Cathy Lee and Crissi and Larry Runner; sisters, Joan Stegall and Jill McIntyre; grandchildren, Corey, Chelsea and Charlie Ward, Cara Dawson, Jordan Robinette, Owen and Kate Runner and great- grandchildren, Justin, Mollie, J.J. and Angel.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday August 18, 2018 at Fidler and Frame Funeral Home with Pastor Rick Pursley officiating. Interment will follow in Witcher Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12 p.m., noon until service time at the funeral home on Saturday.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to Diamond Baptist Church, 207 Ferry Street, Diamond, West Virginia 25015.
