Patsy Benavidez Knight, 67, of Las Vegas, passed away after a short battle with Cancer on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at home with her family. She was born August 8, 1951, to Candelario and Nestora Benavidez and was a 67 year resident of Las Vegas. Patsy was a retired Human Resources worker but mostly dedicated her life to her home, husband, and family. Patsy spent 50 years with the love of her life, her husband Michael. Michael and Patsy shared a beautiful life and were hardly ever apart. Their love for each other shone through and whenever you saw them together, you could feel their joy. Patsy spread love, warmth and kindness everywhere she went. She was always willing to help and no matter what you needed, Patsy was there for you. She was a faithful, sentimental, and beautiful soul who never took her loved ones for granted and always found ways to let them know how much they meant to her. She held meaning in the small things and loved to laugh. Her favorite times were those surrounded by family, love and laughter. Patsy is survived by her beloved husband Michael; sons, Michael (Nicole), Billy (Jessi); Grandsons; Brady and Denzil, Granddaughters; Jaidyn, Kelsi, Kamryn, and Mykah; Great Grandson; Jameson, sisters; Rita and Dora, and numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and friends. Patsy will also be deeply missed by her “furry baby” Annie. Services for Patsy will be on November 6, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Saint Christopher’s Catholic Church, 1840 N. Bruce Street, North Las Vegas, Nevada 89030, and at 2:00 p.m. at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive, Boulder City, Nevada 89005.
