Dorris Lee Mings, 59, formerly of Scottsville, died Nov. 5, 2003 at the Hart County Manor in Munfordville.

She was a nurses' aide and a member of the Berean Baptist Church.

Born in Monroe County, she was a daughter of Mildred Catherine (White) Copas, Scottsville, and the late Adolphus "Dock" Copas.

Other than her mother, survivors include a son, Darren Lee Mings, Scottsville; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Arnold and Betty Copas, Scottsville, and Roger Copas, Watertown, Tenn.; and two sisters and brothers-in-law, Freida and Wayne Crowe, Tompkinsville, and Margie and Gene Cooper, Nashville, Ind.

Two nieces, Deborah Carol Crowe and Lisa Dyan Cooper, both preceded her in death.

Burial was at the White Cemetery in Monroe County.
