Born in Monroe County, she was a daughter of Mildred Catherine (White) Copas, Scottsville, and the late Adolphus "Dock" Copas.
Other than her mother, survivors include a son, Darren Lee Mings, Scottsville; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Arnold and Betty Copas, Scottsville, and Roger Copas, Watertown, Tenn.; and two sisters and brothers-in-law, Freida and Wayne Crowe, Tompkinsville, and Margie and Gene Cooper, Nashville, Ind.
Two nieces, Deborah Carol Crowe and Lisa Dyan Cooper, both preceded her in death.
Burial was at the White Cemetery in Monroe County.
