Milton R. “Milt” Walker, 70, of 104 Oak Lane, Cedar Crest, Mount Union, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, Oct. 4, 2018, at J.C. Blair Memorial Hospital, Huntingdon.

Born March 9, 1948, in Cedar Crest, Wayne Township, Mifflin County, he was the son of the late Landis C. and Mildred M. (Cook) Walker. His companion of 17 years, Tina Smith, survives.

Mr. Walker is survived by two sons, Dean P. Walker and wife, Jessica, of Mount Union, and Joe M. Walker of Blairs Mills; and grandchildren, Patrick Walker, Makenzy Jenkins, Zoi Walker, Caleb Walker, George Leonard and Melanie Leonard.

He is also survived by four siblings, Kenneth Walker and wife, Jane, and Dolores Flasher, all of Cedar Crest, Joanna Woodward and husband, Glenn, of Carlisle, and Lawrence Walker of Cedar Crest.

He was preceded in death by a son, John R. Walker; and his siblings, Stanley, William, Leo, Berlyn and Robert Walker.

Mr. Walker attended the Emmanuel Bible Church, Huntingdon.

H e attended Captain Jack High School.

M r . Walker was most recently employed as a machinist by Grove Worldwide, Shady Grove, and prior to that had worked for the former Harbison-Walker Refractories, Mount Union, and as a houseparent at Hershey Homes.

He enjoyed NASCAR, hunting and going to the Belleville sales.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 8, at the Robert D. Heath Funeral Home, Mount Union, with the Rev. Greg Harven officiating. Interment will be made in the Fairview Cemetery, Three Springs.

Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 7, and from 9 a.m. until the hour of service Monday at the funeral home.
