Helen T. Bauer 87, of Allentown peacefully passed away on Monday October 15, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Joseph C. Bauer Jr. who passed away on March 10, 2002. Born July 9, 1931 in Allentown, Helen was the daughter of the late Louis and Theresa (Horvath) Molnar.

She graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1949. Helen was a crossing guard at 11th and Tilghman St. for many years. She worked at Western Electric for 20 years until her retirement. Helen was a member of Our Lady Help of Christians Church in Allentown. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She was a big fan of Elvis Presley, Tom Jones and Engelbert Humperdink. Helen was also a huge Rolling Stones fan and saw them many times in concert. In her later years she enjoyed watching the New York Yankees on TV.

Survivors: Brother: Louis and his wife Darla of Topton. Sons: Joseph III of Allentown, Timothy and his wife Wendy of Coplay. Daughter, Lisa of Allentown. Grandchildren: David, Douglas, Daniel, Michael, Tyler and Theresa. Great grandchildren: Richard and Joseph.

Services are private at the convenience of the family. Arrangement have been entrusted to the O'Donnell Funeral Home, Allentown.
