He married Mary A. Fisher in Delaware Co., IN, on 6 December 1860. Mary, born 19 November 1841 in Clinton Co., OH, was the daughter of Asa Fisher and Susannah [Susan] Horseman.
Elijah and Mary had the following children: Martha Elizabeth, George W., Alonzo, and William Alexander.
Elijah died in or near Upland, IN, on 17 December 1874.
Mary married again to Lindley Arnett on 27 May 1875 as his second wife. She died in Fairmount, IN [Grant Co.] on 27 or 28 April 1898.
They are my great-grandparents through William Alexander Hill.
