Doris Almeta Allen Crawford, age 95, died peacefully, October 18, 2018. She was born July 15, 1923 in Lovejoy, Texas, to Paul and Inez Dulaney Allen.

Doris graduated from Lewisville High School in 1942 and from the Droughn’s School of Business in Dallas. She married Garland Crawford, November 3, 1945, in Lewisville. Doris was a mother, housewife and she helped care for the family farm.

Doris was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Lewisville for forty-four years. The family moved to Ector, Texas, in 1974. In Ector, she became a member of the Ector United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Stanford, Pat, Paul, and Dan Allen and her sister Billie Faye Durham. She is survived by daughters Susan Lett of Highland Village, Texas, Dinah Mueller and husband Dan, of League City, Texas; by grandsons Will Lett and wife Ashley, of Dallas, Texas, and Ross Lewis of Houston, Texas; Also, step-grandsons, Chad Mueller and wife Kelli of Houston, Texas, Chase Mueller and wife Heather of Tomball, Texas, and Cole Mueller and wife Jaclyn of Bacliff, Texas. Great-grandchildren Logan, Caroline, and William Lett and step-great-grandchildren Lilly and Kylie Mueller. As well as many nieces, nephews and extended family.
