Donald Wooten, age 82, of Snipesville, died Friday, October 19, 2018 at Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas. Mr. Wooten was born March 05, 1936 in Jeff Davis County to the late Glenn Wooten and the late Evelyn Joyce Wooten.

He was a Farmer, retired from Hazlehurst Mills and a member of Mt Pleasant Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his wife, Faye Smith Wooten and Christine Taylor Wooten, twin sons, Ronald and Randall Wooten.

Survivors include:
One daughter, DeLeice Wood.
Two sons, Vann (Tabatha) Wooten and Michael Wooten
One sister, Winona Hartung
Three brothers: Thomas Wooten, Ray Wooten and Olin Wooten
Three stepdaughters: Sue (Daniel) Reid, Mary Tapley and Janice (Darrin) Toole.
Nine Grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren
Special friend, Hazle Fountain
Several nieces and nephews also survived.

Funeral services were held Sunday, October 21, 2018 at 3:00pm at Mt Pleasant Baptist Church with Rev. Kenyon Fennell officiating. The interment followed in the church cemetery.

Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.
