He is survived by his children, Calvin Bourgeois, Jr. and wife, Rosie, Barbara B. Naquin and husband, Gary, Elaine B. LeRay and husband, Glenn; grandchildren, Daphne LeRay and Glenn LeRay, Jr. and wife, Heather; future great-grandson, Hunter Wyatt LeRay; brother, Phillip Bourgeois; and sisters, Doris Besson, Helen Morvant, Pearl Doiron, and Margaret Matherne.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Babin Bourgeois; son, Raymond Bourgeois; daughter, Sandra Bourgeois; father, Camille Bourgeois; mother, Estelle Maronge Bourgeois; brothers, David Bourgeois, Wilbert Bourgeois; and sister, Ouida Mae Babin.
He was a parishioner of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during World War II in Korea, and a member of the Veterans of Foreign War in Raceland and of the American Legion in Raceland.
