Michael Eugene Summers, age 66 of Dublin passed away Thursday, October 11, 2018 a Lewis Gale Hospital, Pulaski. Born February 29, 1952 in Pulaski, he was the son the late Eugene Summers & Mary Alice O’Dell Dalton. An infant son, Michael Paul Summers and step-father, William Dalton also preceded him in death. He was a United States Navy veteran. Surviving are children, Bobby Marshall, Dublin, Angie Cox, Pulaski, Floyd Summers, Pulaski; sister, Carol Burton, Max Meadows; brothers, Leslie Dalton, Hillsville, Sanford Dalton, Woodlawn; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday 2:00 p.m., October 17, 2018 at Bower Funeral Home, Pulaski with Pastor Mike Bonds officiating. Burial will follow at the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery, Dublin. Visitation will be Wednesday from 1:00 pm. until service time. Bower Funeral Home ,Pulaski is handling the arrangements for the family.
