He was born June 4, 1951 in Mount Vernon, Illinois to the late Virgil Dale and Lucille W. (Capps) Hatfield. Terry married Hallie Mae (Hicks) Hatfield on August 11, 2004 in Mount Vernon, Illinois. In addition to his parents, Terry was preceded in death by his siblings, Mike Hatfield, John Hatfield, Jean Carr, Francis Stewart, and Elaine Mellon; and beloved dog, George.

Terry worked for many years as a welder for TTA Railcar in Chicago, Illinois. He was of the Baptist faith. Terry’s greatest joy was spending time with his family. He was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
