Darren graduated from Centerville High School, class of ’89. He worked more than 25 years at their family owned business, Waynesville Body Shop.
Loving husband, son, and uncle, Darren was an outdoorsman with a hands on approach to life. He deeply cared for his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Jan; his parents Neil and Charlotte Green; two sisters Andrea Green (Dale Meadors) and Shelley (Jim) Peters; mother and father-in-law Sam and Sun Haltom; three nieces Sydney Snead, Whitney (Tim) Hartman, and Tia Colwell; two nephews Benjamin Kirby and Forest Colwell; great nephew Jaesun; and two sisters-in-law Jo Ann (George) Kirby and Gail Haltom.
A celebration of life service will be held 11 AM Tues. Oct. 23 at New Spring Church in Springboro. Tom Chatting will be officiating the service. The family will receive friends 4-8 PM Mon. at the church. Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home in Waynesville is serving the family. Burial Miami cemetery, Corwin.
