Ross Stroman Cook 79, of Kingston, Oklahoma passed away Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at the hospital in Durant. He was born on April 30, 1939 in Kingston to the late Sanford Frank Cook and Agnes Irene Lollis Cook. Ross was raised in Kington and joined the United States Army where he served for 2 years. He later traveled working for the pipeline and moved back to Kingston in 1968. Ross married Mona Gale Raybourn on July 3, 1997 in Sherman, Texas. He worked for Oklahoma Steel and Wire from 1985 and retired in 2003. Ross enjoyed fishing, hunting and telling stories.
