Michele Geneva Bowman of Atlanta, GA passed away October 12, 2018 at the age of 54.

Michele was born in Los Angeles, CA and raised in Alabama. She was a cheerleader at Talladega High School and later graduated from the University of Alabama where she received the honor of being on the President's List.

She served in the U.S. Navy as a medical corpsman during the Gulf War. She worked as a trainer, writer and Business Analyst for diverse organizations such as Ryder, Coca Cola and the CDC.

Michele loved volunteering, especially at school and her sons' sports teams. She was called the "best soccer mom ever".

She is survived by her mother, Patricia Kilgore; father, Aaron bowman; brother, Aaron Bowman; and her sons, William and Andrew Teklinski and their father, Bill.

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm (CDST) on Friday, Oct. 19, 2018 at Mineral Springs Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Bowman Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12 - 1 at the church.
