Hebron—Lorna D. Knox, 84, of 620 Lakeshore Drive, died September 29, 1994 at Newark Health Care Centre.

She was born September 28, 1910, at Killbuck, the daughter of Dwight Hervey and Della (Palnud) Hyatt. Formerly of Mount Vernon, she had taught kindergarten at East School for 28 years, retiring in 1976. She was a member of the Mount Vernon, the Ohio and National Education Assns. and Knox Chapter 236 of the Order of Eastern Star.

She is survived by her husband, G. Erle Knox, whom she married July 31, 1934. Also surviving are 4 sons, Jerry Knox of Greensboro, N.C., D. Michael Knox of Tampa, Fla., Phil Knox of Hebron and Steve J. Knox of San Ramon, Calif.; a daughter, Audra E. Buckner of Hebron; 9 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.

Friends may call Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Flowers-Snyder Funeral Home, 619 E. High Street, Mount Vernon. Private graveside service will be conducted in Mound View Cemetery, Mount Vernon, with the Rev. John E. Capper officiating.
