She was an active member of Zion Lutheran Church in Schenectady; taught elementary school at Schenectady Christian School for nearly two decades and was involved in various bible studies, book groups, and her bridge club.
Ppredeceased by her husband, Paul in 2012 and by her brother, Herbert Flemming.
