Ms. Amy Lynne Goodwin, 55, a resident of Glenview, Illinois, passed from this life unexpectedly, on May 1, 2018, after suffering a heart related illness.
Amy is now reunited in peace with her beloved father, Paul Goodwin, (who had resided in Cookeville, Tennessee); her grandparents; uncles; and her recently deceased aunt, Carol Riegler.
After five years living in Europe with her family, she finished her high school education, in Troy, Michigan, and then attended and graduated from Central Michigan University where she was a member of the Zeta Tau Alpha sorority.
Amy’s 30-plus-year career as a flight attendant with American Airlines offered her multiple opportunities to travel the world. Her American Airlines co-workers were a true family to her.
She will be remembered for her zest for life and charming ability to keep in contact with everyone who was special to her.
She is survived by her loving mother Lynne Goodwin; her adoring brothers, Keith, Brian, and Bradley (Juliette) Goodwin; her nephews, Brandan, Kevin, Carson, Luke, Braxton, and Nickolaus Goodwin; her aunts Lorene (the late Steve) Michalek, Jean (the late Jack) McDougall; uncle, Lee (Elise) Merrelli; and many loving cousins.
A memorial service at her interment to her earthly resting place will take place October
20, 2018, at Howard Cemetery, with a luncheon reception to follow.

Death leaves a heartache no one can heal.

Love leaves a memory we all deeply feel.

Hunter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
