DeLoris Anderson, 86, of Marion, ND died at Sanford Hospital in Fargo, ND Monday, October 15, 2018.

Daughter of Daboldt and Elizabeth (Gall) Ketterling, DeLoris was born May 23, 1932 in the family home south of Fredonia, ND. When she was 4 years old the family moved to a farm near LaMoure. She attended country school in rural LaMoure.

In 1950 she married Paul “Bitz” Anderson. They lived on the Anderson homestead raising grains, cattle and sheep. She was a wonderful cook and made many meals for family and friend gatherings. She worked as hostess at the Torchlight Supper Club and was the cook for Marion School for 15 years. She loved traveling and was able to visit various countries in Europe, the Bahamas, & Jamaica. She and Bitz had many trips to Colorado and Arizona to visit siblings. She was always willing to do what she could to help out a person in need.

She is survived by children, Monte (Toni) Anderson, Renee (Bruce) Haseleu; seven grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; sisters, Ella Beglau, Marceal Nannenga; brother, Palmer Ketterling; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Joan, ten brothers and one sister.
