Just two years after the last available census she married her first husband in South Berwick, Maine on September 24, 1942. He predeceased her in 1996. Together they had two daughters that went onto to have their own families, making her a grand and great grandmother.
She remarried around 2004 to her second husband Robert Fortier.
Throughout her career she worked various jobs in the area. Including sewing shoes and being a seamstress.
