STRATFORD -(Special)- Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Green, 91, were scheduled for 2:30 p.m., Thursday in the First Methodist Church. The Rev. M.E. Upchurch, pastor, will officiate.
Mrs. Green, who had been a resident of Sherman County since 1901, died Tuesday in Dumas Memorial Hospital after a long illness.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Coletus Smith and Mrs. J.W. Parsons; two sons, Burk and Merritt Green, all of Stratford; 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She is the widow of Jasper Green who died in February, 1920.
Interment will be in the Stratford Cemetery.
Her mother's maiden name was Holland.
