AUGUST 18, 1942 – JULY 21, 2016

Donald Lee Stegall, 72, of Hot Springs passed away in his home on July 21, 2016. He was born August 18, 1942 in Newport, Arkansas to the late Perry and Nora (Honey) Stegall. Don is predeceased by his brothers, Bobby, Thomas and David Stegall and sister, Camilla White. He is survived by his brother, Jerry Walker of Mesa, Arizona as well as several nieces and nephews. Shortly after his birth his family moved to Haskell AR, where he was raised by his mother and step father Perla & Nora Raper and attended Harmony Grove School. Don enlisted in the U.S. Army and served three tours in Vietnam. After returning from war Don called Hot Springs home and met Pat Burnette, a special friend who was there for him whenever he needed throughout the remainder of his life. Don is now at peace with the Lord. A celebration of his life will be held along with his sister-in-law's, Opal Stegall, who passed on the same day. Service will take place at Ashby Funeral Home in Benton at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday with his brother Jerry Walker officiating the service.
