Marie McKinney, born December 13, 1928, or also known to so many as Nan-Nan, was 89 when she passed peacefully on Saturday, October 13, 2018 to go to Heaven. She spent her last few weeks in the comfort of her own home surrounded by family.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Thurney L. McKinney, her son Richard McKinney and sons-in-laws, Thomas Bowling and Robert Swanson.
Marie is survived by her daughters, Wanda Bowling and Janice Swanson, grandchildren, Jeffrey McKinney, Thomas (Susan) Bowling, Tawnya Bowling, Tony McAninch, Amanda (Joe) Cornett and Holly McAninch. Great Grandchildren, Brandon, Thomas Jr., Seth (Lauren), TJ, Kenny, Denvil, Zack, Braydon and Samantha and 3 great-great grandchildren, Colton, Tommy and Levi.
A visitation will be held at Rose Lawn Funeral Home, on Friday, October 19, 2018 at 10:00 AM followed by a graveside service in Rose Lawn Cemetery at 11:00 AM.
