LOLITA — Mary Faye Deyton Schoonover, 76, of Lolita died Saturday, Feb. 11, 1995.
She was born June 17, 1918 in North Carolina to the late W.W. and Dora Gunter Deyton.
She was retired from the Lolita School Cafeteria where she worked for 35 years as cafeteria supervisor and she was a member of the Lolita Baptist Church.
Survivors: daughter, Susan Schoonover of Lolita: sons, Willard Schoonover and Elbert Schoonover, both of Lolita; sisters, Shereen Ashley of Lolita, Mereen Beals of Pasadena, and Frances Stern and Essie Lewallen, both of San Antonio; brother, Harold Deyton of Lolita; seven grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation: 4 p.m. today until service time Monday, Slavik Funeral Home.
Services: 10 a.m. Monday, Lolita Baptist Church, the Rev. Gene Rice officiating. Burial: Red Bluff Cemetery, Slavik Funeral Home, Edna, (361)782-2152. Memorials: Lolita Baptist Church.
