Paul N. “Dooley” Stovall, age 85 died Friday, January 14, 2011. A native of Granville Co. he was the son of the late Evans W. and Kate Woody Stovall. He was a retired farmer and a member of Stovall Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday January 17, 2011 at 2:00 PM in Stovall Baptist Church by the Rev. Eddie Mauldin. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Surviving is his sister, Ruth J. Hester of Raleigh; sister-in-law, Ruby Stovall of Oxford. He was preceded in death by sisters, Evelyn Stovall, Bess Tilley, Gertie French and Juanita Stovall; brothers Jasper Stovall, Bill Stovall and Williard Stovall.
The family would like to extend a heart felt thanks to, George Bailey, Jerry White, Jimmy Wilson and Evelyn “Bunny” Wall for their love, devotion and friendship shown to Dooley during his illness.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM in the church fellowship hall.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Stovall Baptist Church. P.O. Box 188, Stovall, NC 27582.
