Jerry Coffield Dixon II, age 28 of Tarboro, passed away in an accident on Sunday 14, 2018. Funeral service will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, October 19, 2018 in Keihin Auditorium at Edgecombe Community College with the Rev. Ricky Freeman and Exum "Squeak" Harrell, IV officiating. Burial will follow in Green Cemetery. Jerry was the Chief of Heartsease Volunteer Fire Department; and also worked for his family's plumbing company, Jerry Dixon & Son Plumbing. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Thomas E. Morris and Virginia C. Morris; his paternal grandparents, Jerry A. Dixon and Barbara P. Dixon; and several aunts and uncles. He is survived by his wife, Amber Dixon of the home; son, Jerry Dixon, III "JD" of the home; mother and father Jerry and Jackie Dixon of Tarboro, a sister, Susan Ann Dixon of South Carolina; a host of extended family and friends, as well as a brotherhood like no other ...DDMC, that will miss him dearly. They will receive friends and relatives on Tuesday and Wednesday from 3:00-7:00pm at Heartsease Fire Department, 8736 U.S. 64 Alternate, Tarboro, NC. The family will also receive friends and relatives on Thursday from 6:00-8:00pm at Carlisle Funeral Home. Arrangements are by Carlisle Funeral Home, Inc., of Tarboro.
