02/07/1923 - 10/13/2018 Laura Jane Reece Collins, 95, died Saturday, October 13, 2018. Born in Boyle County on February 7, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Leo and Jo Ann Smith Reece. Laura grew up on White Oak Road. She enjoyed going to church at Arnold Towers. Laura walked everywhere, never drove and loved her dogs, grandchildren and taking pictures. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Lucian Collins; three daughters, Judy Underwood, Sharon Smith and Minnie Ann Campbell; six sisters, Eunie Gaddis, Mabel Hamilton, Nora Campbell, Nannie Belcher, Dora Pittman and Ethel Reece Yates; two brothers, Sam Reece and Jess Reece.

She is survived by six grandchildren, Janie (Johnny) Robbins of Danville, Donna Prewitt of Danville, Sonny (Tracy) Underwood of Emmaus, Pa., Robbie (Kristin) Underwood of Stanford, Tony (Dawn) Smith of Junction City and Ricky (Karen) Smith of Danville; six great grandchildren, Jennifer (Adam Woodward) Robbins, Dathan Prewitt, Chris Smith, Nate Smith, Cameron Smith and Dylan Smith; three great-great grandchildren, Aleina Prewitt, Braydan Woodward and Lily Woodward.

The funeral service will be 2 p.m., Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at Stith Funeral Home, Junction City. Rev. Randy Southerland will officiate. Burial will be in the Junction City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Dathan Prewitt, Nate Smith, Adam Woodward, Alan Cain, Johnny Robbins, Sonny Underwood and Steve Campbell. Honorary pallbearers will be JoEllen Brown, Junior Campbell, Ronnie Belcher, Donnie Underwood, Chastine Parker and Jennifer Robbins.
