The light of the world has greatly been dimmed – while heaven is beaming with unspeakable brightness.
Upon the arrival of Prince Wilder, the heavens loved him but let him be wild and free. Wilder was the gleam of his parents’ eyes, along with every person who ever met that smiling face. From the delivery room on February 25, 2016 until October 11, 2018, Wilder’s touch made everyone’s life seem like an answer to unspoken prayers. Many touched can attest.
Wilder loved anything involving P. J. Masks (Catboy!) or Paw Patrol. He loved going on adventures with his Mom, especially seeing the Robots at the science museum. ‘ Fat Gurl Barkleigh’ was his fur sister and faithful partner in crime. Last, but surely not least, “Wild Butt” loved dressing as Superman, whose sweet face brought his fighter Daddy to his knees.

Wilder may have left early, but will be followed in time by his loving mother, Amber Odom and his father Bubba McDaniel. Also following will be his siblings, Bryan McDaniel and Emma McDaniel; his maternal grandparents Dina and David Taylor; paternal grandparents, Karen and Scott Burke, Bob and Diane McDaniel. Numerous aunts, uncles and cousins are also in tote.
The family will receive friends Monday, October 15, 2018 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Owens and Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at First Baptist Church of Wichita Falls with Dr. Bob McCartney officiating. Graveside services and interment will immediately follow at Bowman Cemetery. A ‘Bike’ escort is encouraged.
All arrangements are under the direction of Owens and Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls.
