Gary Nichols, age 68, of Fulton, Missouri passed away on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Cap Region Medical Center in Jefferson City, Missouri.

Gary was born on November 8, 1949, in Fulton, Missouri, the son of the late Russell Gillette and the late Rosie (Nichols) Gillette.

Gary went to George Washington Carver Elementary School in Fulton. He graduated from Fulton High School om 1967. Gary later attended Lincoln University for one year.

Gary worked at a Daycare Center for several years doing janitorial work before going to work at Robinson Dining Hall at Westminster College as a chef where he remained for several years before retirement.

Gary loved fishing, cooking, listening to music, sitting on the porch watching pretty girls go by and hanging with family and friends. Gary attended the Second Christian Church in Fulton.

Survivors include sons, Joshua Vaughn of St. Louis, Missouri and Cortez Cave of Fulton, Missouri; siblings, Teresa Nichols of Columbia, Missouri, Rosanna Smith (Michael), Larry Gillette (Vanessa), Deianna Gillette, Carla Berry (Lee), Ronnie Gillette (Kay), Pamela Gillette, all of Fulton, Missouri, Carl Gillette (Rosie) of Anchorage, Alaska, Connie Crowley of St. Loui, Missouri and Debbie Harris (Charles) of Memphis, Tennessee; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, October 19, 2018, at Victory Fellowship Church with Reverend Cedric Harris officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00pm until the time of service at the church. Interment will follow in Southside Cemetery.

Arrangements were under the care of Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton.
