Frances Jean Woods passed away on October 13, 2018. She was born on December 30, 1927 in Breckenridge, Texas to parents Elmer W. and G. Kathleen Camp. Frances was preceded in death by her loving husband of 47 years Wilton "Tex" H. Woods; parents, G. Kathleen (William) Camp, Elmer W. Camp; sister, Winnie L. Davis and (husband Jesse L. Davis): son Jerry D. Woods; and brother-in-law William (Sonny) Hendrix, Jr. She is survived by her sister Virginia Hendrix; two daughters Renee Goode and Janet K. Caraway and husband Thomas; son Kerry G. Woods and wife Mali. Eight grandchildren Charline Kovacs, Michelle Buffalo, Jerry W. Woods, Sr., Tammy M. Kelley, Patricia L. Monahan, Amber Caraway, Crystal Caraway and Michael Avera. Nineteen great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; as well as a host of friends and other family members.

Frances was a long time faithful member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church and will be missed by many.

The family will receive friends for a visitation Tuesday, October 16, 2018 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM; a funeral service on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at 2:30 PM in the Chapel of Chimes at Brookside Memorial Park and Cemetery, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039 with burial to follow.
