Diane Lynn Conner, 65, passed from this life to the next, on Sunday afternoon, October 14, 2018, at the Clarview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Sligo, Pennsylvania, six months after back surgery and terminal liver disease.

She was born in Clarion, PA on September 14, 1953, to the late Fred and Betty (Matthews) Traister. She graduated from Clarion-Limestone High School and married Jerome Frances Conner May 12, 1973. They made their home in Sligo, PA and celebrated 45 years together this May.

She is survived by her husband, Jerome, and three sons, Matthew Conner of Clarion, Scott Conner and wife Amanda of Sandy Lake, and Daniel Conner of Sligo; one grandson, Jacob Aaron Conner; one brother, Robert Traister of Rochester, New York, and one sister Bonnie Ferguson and husband Joe of Limestone.

She followed Jesus as her Lord and Savior, serving Him with her life as a homemaker for her family and as an active part of the Trinity Point Church of God (formerly Liberty St. Church of God) in Clarion. She loved babies, especially, and served for years in the nursery of the church, led Bible Studies, was a part of the Women of the Church of God and women’s ministries.

Diane enjoyed putting puzzles together, reading Christian fiction books, playing games with family and friends, cooking, baking, and helping others.

She loved being a grandma to her only grandson, Jacob, and helping out with her great-nieces and nephews, as well.

Arrangements are under the care of the Goble Funeral Home and Crematory in Clarion. Visitation will be held at the Trinity Point Church of God, 180 West Trinity Drive, Clarion, PA 16214, on Wednesday, October 17, 2018, from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m. and Thursday, October 18, 2018, 6:00-7:00 p.m., with the worship celebration service to follow at 7:00 p.m. A fellowship time for family and friends will follow the service. Interment will be in Cedarview Memorial Park in Strattanville.
