Mother of Caren Smith Ponson (H.J.), Raymond “Pete” Smith (the late Geneve), Letha Smith Leleaux (the late Gary), Leonard “Lenny” Smith (Melanie), Donna Smith Toups and Wayne Fountain (Patricia).
Sister of the late Beatrice Hubbard, Bernice Fountain and Vernon Bird.
Selma is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was born in Biloxi, Mississippi and was a resident of Algiers, LA for 54 years. She was a volunteer at Jo Ellen Smith Hospital for over 5 years.
