Harold Goff SSG (Ret) age 70 of Clarksville, passed away at his residence on October 12, 2018. Harold was born in Pennsylvania and raised in West Virginia. He served his country for over 20 years in the U.S. Army. Harold was a member of the American Legion Post 2000. He did not have any immediate family but was blessed with several good friends and neighbors. He is survived by his Sister in the Lord, Tamara Piper of Clarksville; his good friend and neighbor Larry Sessums, as well as other neighbors and friends who assisted Harold. He is preceded in death by a great friend and father figure, Charles McEwen, who was a great blessing to Harold. A Memorial Service with military honors will be conducted on Thursday October 18, 2018 at 4:00 P.M. at Gateway Funeral Home with Pastor Eric Sims of the Oakwood Freewill Baptist Church officiating. Harold's remains will be placed at the Kentucky Veteran Cemetery West at Hopkinsville, KY at a later date.
