Dana was a resident of ShadySide and formerly from Bristol. He was a graduate of Bladensburg High School and attended Prince George's Community College. He worked for PepsiCo, Gas, and from 1981-2003 he owned Substation Test Company. He served in the National Guard from 1953-1959.
Hap was a member of the Tri State Sports Club, the NETA, NECA, Bristol Civic Association, and St. James Episcopal Church. He also served as a Boy Scout leader.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Marian E. Green, his children Jeffrey, Susan, Phyllis, Katie, and Laura. Also survived by siblings Robert, Margaret and Virginia, and 14 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
